This school room in the south wing of our museum has been converted into a small presentation theater, complete with restored chairs from Gilbert’s old movie theater which used to be found in the Tone Building on Gilbert Road, better known today as Joe’s Real BBQ.
As well as serving as our theater, this room currently houses an antique typewriter collection, an impressive display of collectible dolls, and many military vehicle models from the past and the future!
We have plans for this room; it will soon will be renamed the Technology Room and will house an antique telephone collection and camera equipment used in Gilbert through the years.
